P.S.
Norah weighed 14 lbs 8 oz at her 4 month check up today. And she's two feet tall. Her head circumference was the only measurement that registered above average.

A quick trip to Ashburn, Va
We had a really great time in Northern Va at Bob and Liz's house this past weekend. We got to feast on some delicious Peking Duck at the most crowded dinner ever, the girls got to play dress up and sleep in nests in Aunt Budgie's room, and we got to see Brain for the first time in over a year! Everyone finally got to meet Norah Lynne, too.
Backyard Fun at Shishaw and Pawpaw's House
Poor Norah had to stay inside and watch her sisters play outside. She didn't mind, she actually enjoyed the show quite a bit! Shiloah filtted around to lots of different activities while Hannah stayed put at the painting station for a very long time. She painted her entire self, including her face, eventually.

Hannah's Preschool show
Yes, you can hear her singing above all the others, she did a great job! Unfortunately I didn't capture the absolute best moment of the entire show on the camera -- as the principal announced the song Baby Bird, Hannah shrieked with delight, "Oh Mommy it's Baby Bird!" It was so sweet.
A few weeks later we met a little girl at the playground who recognized Hannah as "The Baby Bird Girl" like it was the best thing she'd ever seen! Hannah was like, um.... yeah, so what are you talking about?
Shiloah forgets the words
She knows all the words to certain sections of Just Around the Riverbend, by Disney's Pocahontas... but she all of a sudden forgot when the camera turned on. I think it's hilarious!

Beautiful Girls
As part of our summer learning one day we created butterflies on paper towels with water colors. Hannah took her time and covered the entire paper towel with deliberate color choices and ended up with a beautiful butterfly. Shiloah painted two very distinct spots with every color she could(which made brown) and then said she was done. But she sure had fun!
Those purple glasses on Norah: they belong to a cabbage patch doll that Scootie brought us. Shiloah put them on Norah when I wasn't looking! Norah didn't seem to mind. She is such a happy baby! She loves to roll around on her belly and make very loud squealy noises. Very loud. Sometimes loud enough that we can't hear each other! In the picture of her on the blue mat she is smiling at Shishaw.
